Leadership Message

From the Desk of the President,
Mahila Imdad Committee

It is a privilege and a responsibility to serve as the President of an organisation whose very name embodies its purpose — Imdaad, meaning help, support and assistance.

At Imdaad, we believe that true service goes beyond providing immediate relief. It is about restoring dignity, creating opportunities and empowering individuals to build a better and more secure future.

As we move forward, our endeavour will be to strengthen our existing initiatives while responding to the evolving needs of our community. We hope to place greater emphasis on education, skill development, women’s empowerment, health and mental well-being, while equipping young people with relevant skills in areas such as computers, artificial intelligence and social media.

We also hope to create greater awareness and support around mental health, particularly the challenges faced by children and families on the autism spectrum, and to contribute meaningfully to public health initiatives, including the fight against tuberculosis.

But no organisation can create lasting change alone. The strength of Imdaad lies in the commitment, compassion and collective efforts of its members and supporters. Together, we can transform concern into action and assistance into empowerment.

I look forward to working with each one of you as we continue to build an Imdaad that is compassionate in its approach, purposeful in its vision and meaningful in its impact.

Let us serve with compassion, empower with purpose and make a difference that lasts.
